Guess I should have known...

they were up to something!  I had cooked dinner and unloaded the dishwasher without a single scream or cry from either kid.  I had asked Ryan to play with Drew for a little bit so I could get dinner fixed for them before Darin and I left for the Thunder game.  When I finally went in to check on them this is what I found....

Ryan had taken every toy out of his closet for them to play with.  I will give it to her, he was definitely entertained!

Thanks to Stu and Cat for babysitting the kids until midnight last night while Darin and I went to the Thunder game.  We had a great time and the Thunder are going to the 2nd round of the playoffs!

Easter Weekend

We had a busy Easter weekend with lots of fun, family and candy!  The kids Grandma and Grandpa (Darin's mom and step dad) came to visit and and take part in the Easter activities.  Here are the tons of pictures that I took.

Best Buds

Ryan and Drew have really started playing together lately.  Ryan will ask if her and Drew can play with something or just take his hand and they go to one of their rooms.  As soon as Ryan hears Drew on the monitor she wants to go in and get him herself (climb into the crib and lay with him).  If Ryan is in her room and Drew is awake he stands at her door yelling Ry Ry until she lets him in.  It has been fun to see them want to play together, but it has also been nice for me to be able to get some stuff done too!  Hopefully they will keep this up!  Here are some pictures I have taken of them together lately...

Loving the weather

We have been taking full advantage of the nice weather by spending tons of time outside.  The kids can't wait for summer to get here so they can start swimming everyday.  I have been holding them off by filling up their Toy Story pool and the water table.  So far it is working...

Ryan also had another soccer game on Saturday.  They had their first win and Ryan scored her first goal!!!  She was beyond excited about it all day long.  She would say, "I can't believe I scored a  goal, I'm just so proud of myself" I only took one picture after the game of her and her proud coach :)

Friday we went to one of Ryan's best friends Addison's birthday party at Bouncin Craze.  The kids had a great time playing, jumping and eating tons of candy!  They both slept awesome that night.

Weekend Fun

Ryan had 2 soccer games Saturday afternoon.  The games were in the middle of nap time and it was really hot this weekend.  This made for a REALLY long afternoon.  But we did survive the games...barely.

(This was the 2nd game-they were all done by this point)

Darin and I went to the Fine Arts Spring Sampler later that night and got some great stuff from the auction.  One of our wins was a princess outfit for Ryan.  She has worn it non-stop since we gave it to her.  I talked her into taking it off to sleep and take a bath luckily.

On Sunday we went to the Zoo with Cydney, Matt and Reese.  It was hot and windy but it didn't stop the thousands of  people from thinking it was the perfect day for the zoo too.  We all had a great time!

(She agreed to take the princess outfit off for the zoo if she got to wear another dress.)

Drew loved looking for the animals and yelling "See" over and over
