Lately

Ryan is starting soccer for the YMCA this week.  She is so excited and loves the "outfit" as she calls it, that she gets to wear.  She has a bunch of friends from church and school on her team.  They had their first practice this weekend and her games start on Saturday.  Her team consists of 9 3yr olds and Darin is coaching.  It should be very entertaining!  I took a couple of pictures on my phone during practice...

Drew just started Gymboree and is loving it! It has been fun taking him because this is when I started with Ryan there.  We even have the same teacher.   He has been a little less interested in the songs and parachute stuff but loves all of the climbing, balls and slides.

Dragging the balls with him

Drew has figured out how to push things around so he can climb on everything from the coffee table to Ryan's piano.  Left him alone for a minute and came back to this...

He also cut another tooth this week.  I guess he is taking teething into his own hands this time.

Spring is here!

Hopefully we are done with the snow and freezing temps!  We have been taking full advantage of the nice weather with trips to the park and walks around the neighborhood.

Alison was in town so we got together to play at the park on Sunday.  The kids had a great time playing!

 Walking around the neighborhood

 She ran the whole time

We took a break from the run to play at the park

Drew after the party

Here is a video of Drew playing basketball.  While he is playing he hears Hank bark which he thinks means Darin is home...

We survived all of the snow...

barely!  The kids finally got well and the temps have been in the 70s all week!  Here are some pics from the second week of snow.

 Watching movies

I got creative and brought the snow inside

 It was a hit!

 They played forever.

We made a tent and had a picnic in it

Professional Mudder pics

We got our pictures that they took of us during the Tough Mudder.  After seeing the boys go through the electrocution at the end and seeing the pictures after I am glad I chose to skip that obstacle.
Enjoy!

Snow storm 2011

We all started out excited about the snow at the first of the week but as of day 4 in the house we are over it! Both kids started coughing a ton on Wednesday and haven't stopped since.  Ryan has seemed to feel fine but coughs all the time.  Drew seemed to feel awful and wouldn't eat or sleep... total opposite of his normal routine.  So yesterday we ventured into the snow to take them to the Dr.  After waiting in the waiting room for an hour they saw us. It was so crowded because they had been closed the 2 days before.  Drew ended up having Bronchitis and ear infections in both ears.  They said everything looked fine for Ryan except her cough sounded awful.  So we left with a steroid shot, antibiotics and a huge bottle of Tylenol codeine and high hopes that they would be able to sleep better.  Drew seemed better and actually ate dinner last night.  He had his cough medicine and went to bed at 6:30.  Ryan wouldn't eat dinner, had her cough medicine and projectile puked all over the kitchen floor and sink.  She eventually went to sleep and has layed around all morning.   Needless to say this has been a really LONG week!! I have taken lots of pictures because I have nothing else to do.
