Ready for Christmas

The kids are so excited and ready for Christmas this year! They have had all sorts of countdowns and advent calendars and let me know numerous times a day how many days are left until Christmas.  Here are some pictures from my phone from the last couple of weeks....

Santa's Art Workshop

Last weekend we took the kids to Santa's Art Workshop at the Fine Arts Institute in Edmond.  They got to rotate through a couple of art stations, have hot chocolate and cookies while Mrs. Clause read them stories and then they got to chat with Santa and tell him everything they wanted for Christmas.  They had a blast and were both beyond excited to hang with Santa this year!

 Drew was telling him all about his bday party he had here and about his new bike he got. He stood up there for a good 5 minutes chatting with Santa.  He also told Santa that all he wanted for Christmas was cupcakes and a "gooter" (scooter). Ryan was in awe of the whole thing and was shockingly very quiet the whole time.

 The elf got out the Naughty or Nice list to check for their names.  I love how serious they both got about this.
